The bleach history, ...
A Brief History of bleach
The bleach was discovered in 1785 at Javel, a small village located near Paris, by Berthollet who discovered its whitening properties.
Thus, it was adopted by washerwomen, who found, in this way, a miracle product for white clothes.
It was only later, thanks to the discovery of its antiseptic properties by Louis Pasteur, that the bleach becomes an essential health auxiliary.
To date, no microbial strain resistant to bleach has been found.
